TACOMA’S GOTCHA PROSECUTION
“I don't need to know whether you're Left or Right before I care whether what's being said about you is TRUE. That's my True North. Accuracy doesn't have a political party. Neither does fairness.”
Clearly... I Made the Wrong Assumption.
“What really got me wasn't even the election result. It was what happened afterward. I started seeing people celebrating our ‘new, safe streets.’ Better sidewalks! Better roads! Better connections! And I kept thinking, ‘Did we all read the same thing?’”
If Proposition 1 Was Just About Roads, This Would Be Simple.
“Trust isn't a blank check. Trust is earned.”
The Machine Never Evolved… And Neither Did Tacoma
“Maybe the problem was never that I didn’t fit in.
Maybe the problem is what this culture rewards.”
Downtown’s Parking Meters Just Changed And Businesses Are Paying the Price
Tacoma swapped paper tickets for license plate logs. Downtown shops? Furious. Shoppers? Frustrated. Modernization or micromanagement? You decide.
ICE Isn’t Keeping You Safe. It’s Dividing Us All.
This is not about Left vs. Right, Republicans vs. Democrats, MAGA vs. Progressives. THIS is about America, not politics.
Tacoma Arts Live Didn’t Fail, It Was Failed
The decision-makers in City Hall didn’t just watch Tacoma Arts Live struggle, they allowed it to happen. They refused to invest in Tacoma’s own, even as the cracks started showing. And now, one of the city’s cultural cornerstones is gone.
An Unlikely Pairing FOR Tacoma
I intend on being a Mayor for EVERY person living in Tacoma. Because that is the way that it is supposed to be. That is the true meaning of Service. Every opinion and every voice needs to be heard.
We need to break down the barriers that divide us as a community and work towards unifying the people of Tacoma.
In a world where politics is dividing us, wider than ever before, the last thing that we need is for our local government to do the same. The City Of Tacoma’s Government should work for every citizen living in Tacoma. Regardless of whether someone is a Democrat or a Republican.
We need to create an environment that attracts businesses in line with Tacoma’s values and work force.
How many tens of thousands of us have had to commute north to earn a decent wage or to expand our careers? I was one of those who had to commute literally over a hundred hours a month just to work in an environment for my family to flourish.
Let’s add revenue and civic pride by boosting festivals and events.
I want to add revenue and civic pride by boosting festivals and events. There are events and festivals held all around the globe whose name alone is synonymous with the great cities in which they take place.
With DC in turmoil, let’s focus on Tacoma.
The recent election has left a lot of us feeling pretty rattled with the government, regardless of which side of the fence you reside.
Expanding Green Spaces and Increasing the use of Solar Energy
There’s nothing quite like the Pacific Northwest when the sun is shining and our beautiful blues skies are filled with love and laughter. Finding a nice green patch of grass to chill out upon and breathe in the clean air that our lush forests provide for us on a daily basis. Our parks and recreation areas provide more than just a great space to enjoy alone, but they are gathering places for the community to gather in and spend time with friends and loved ones.
Viva Tacoma Film and Arts
It’s been over twenty years since the last major motion picture was shot in Tacoma. We need to bring the film industry BACK to T-Town.
Empowering Entrepreneurs
We need to better support the needs of local people who are making an investment to our great city. Behind every storefront, service industry, restaurant, coffee shop and hair salon, there is a dream.
Protecting our Aquifers and Natural Environment
Since the go ahead on construction of the MEGA Warehouse in South Tacoma, so much concern over the City’s lack of concern over our natural resources and especially our aquifers has been called into question.
City Budget and Tacoma Taxes
Tacoma’s City Government needs to come to terms with the fact that they have been penalizing Tacoma tax payers for the city’s lack of planning and responsible budgeting. Oftentimes, as happened in 2022, Council Members have put forth legislation that raises operating costs for businesses.
Recycle today for a better tomorrow
To say that Tacoma’s recycling system is broken… is being polite. To be honest, it’s abhorrent. In the Pacific Northwest, we pride ourselves on being leaders when it comes to the environment.
We need to clean up our streets, neighborhoods and keep people safe.
One of my biggest goals is to unify the people of Tacoma. To draw us all closer together and build a tight-knit community, once again. I know we have it in us to do so, and I offer the Leadership to help make that happen.
I Support a Mayor-Council form of Government in Tacoma
Back in 1952, Voters approved the switch to a Council-Manager system of government due to excessive issues with corruption. I feel this is outdated.
