Here are a few key issues that we are dedicated to and passionate about, at Visualize Tacoma:

• We need to put all 24 Charter Recommendations on the ballot for Tacoma to vote on as soon as I am elected. 

• Funding the Tacoma Police Department to hire more DCR (Designated Crisis Responders) to evaluate street individuals who are exhibiting signs of a behavioral health disorder.

• We are determined to write a more careful city budget, that respects all Tacoma tax payers.

• Cleaning up our streets, neighborhoods and keep people safe.

• Our plan to protect our aquifers and natural environment.

• We have some very unique ideas on how to revitalize, enhance and utilize downtown to its utmost potential.

• We need to dig deep and solve our pathetic recycling system.

• Ideas about reducing homelessness.

• Making it easier to start a small business, create jobs and sustain success in our city.

• We are huge advocates for the growth of all Tacoma arts and the return of the film industry and its never-ending revenue for Tacoma and the PNW region.

• Let’s expand recreation areas, community gardens and shared green spaces while increasing the use of solar energy.

• We want to add revenue and civic pride by boosting festivals and events.

• We want to incentivize corporations to relocate their headquarters in strategic key areas of Tacoma.

• We need a more cost-effective grease-trap choice for Tacoma’s small restaurants and bars that will be environmentally safe.

• Here’s our plan to improve waterfront accessibility and smarter parking lot designs.

• We want to break down the barriers that divide us as a community and work towards unifying the people of Tacoma.

• We’d like to honor Tacoma’s history by retaining architectural landmarks around the city.

We are deeply committed to the work of building a brighter tomorrow and a better today for all of us and our city of destiny. While we stand here with great vision, our work is a joint effort.
