Our city government has done virtually nothing with our downtown core for decades.  There are still so many boarded up buildings, vacancy signs and very few people walking around.

In August, I went on a ride along with the Tacoma Police Department.

I had specifically asked for the graveyard shift in Sector 4, which is one of the more "active" sections of Tacoma, especially at night.

Tacoma is in the midst of a crisis situation, not only in Tacoma but all over this country, unfortunately. There are a multitude of reasons that people are homeless, the fact that we are in the recovery of a worldwide pandemic has not helped matters.
